Govt announces Public holiday in Pakistan on 12th Rabi ul Awal

                              

on Friday, the federal government declared September 17 to be a national public holiday in observance of Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH).

                                                           
The Cabinet Division announced in a notification that on September 17, 2024, Tuesday, will be observed as a public holiday in honor of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12th Rabi ul Awwal 1446 AH).


                                                           
To be able to observe the moon for the month of Rabi ul Awal, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee held on September 4. sadly, that evening, the crescent moon was not visible.

It then announced that Rabi ul Awal would begin on Thursday, September 5, the following evening, and that September 17 would fall on the 12th day of the month.

Muslims over the world celebrate Eid Milad un Nabi with a zeal and devotion to religion.

Many structures, including mosques and shrines, have been lit out in lights as the holy day draws near.

Public processions, festivals, and seminars that highlight the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Seerah (life) are held in Pakistan to mark the day.
