On Saturday, the local market reported a decrease in gold prices, with a Rs1,050 per tola decline. This decline was in line with a comparable global market trend.
The All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association reported that the going rate for gold in the local market was Rs227,500 per tola. In a similar vein, 10 grams of gold reduced in price to Rs195,045 from Rs900.
Gold prices on the global market dropped by $13 to $2,175 per ounce. On the other hand, the local market saw no change in the price of silver, with tolas costing Rs 2,600 and 10 grams costing Rs 2,229.08.
