The Blackcaps are expected to play three Twenty20 international matches (T20Is) at Rawalpindi's Pindi Cricket Ground on April 18, 20, and 21 after arriving in Islamabad on the scheduled date.
Following the matches on April 25 and 27, the sides will play the final two Twenty20 Internationals at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Each match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. PKT. Reasonable ticket pricing will be offered, and details regarding ticket sales will be released later.
In the last 17 months, New Zealand has traveled to Pakistan three times. They had previously visited Pakistan for two Tests and three ODIs as part of the ICC Men's Championship in December 2022 and January 2023. They traveled to Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi later that year for ten white-ball matches in April.
As a lead-up to the ICC T20 World Cup, Usman Wahla, Director of International Cricket at PCB, stated his excitement about hosting the New Zealand team and predicted a competitive series."We are excited to announce the schedule for New Zealand men's team tour to Pakistan 2024 as a sign of the strong friendship between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and New Zealand Cricket (NZC)," Usman stated. He went on, "This tour symbolizes the close bonds and mutual respect between our cricketing nations." "We look forward to another exciting series, which is crucial for our preparation for this year's ICC T20 World Cup," he said. "Our passionate cricket fans and the people of Pakistan will warmly welcome the New Zealand team again."
