How to Get an International Driver's License:

Future drivers must complete specific qualifications and adhere to the application process carefully in order to receive an international driving license. Three copies of a valid CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card), two attested passport-sized photos, an attested copy of the applicant's passport, and a copy of their valid national driver's license are among the required paperwork. For applicants who are 50 years of age or older, a medical certificate might also be necessary, and applicants to Motorway Police must submit a blood group report.

Method for Application:

A visit to the relevant Driving License Authority office is required as part of the application procedure. Tokens are required, and applicants must wait for their time to finish data entry and have their eyes examined. For verification, live camera and biometric images are also captured. In addition, a computerized test on traffic signs is given, and a written test based on a scenario is only applicable at the Islamabad Traffic Police. Following the submission of all required paperwork, candidates take a practical driving exam in a police officer-supervised car, either in their own or one that is provided.

The International Driving License is issued upon successful completion of the entire process. Pakistani drivers can anticipate getting their license in about a week, which will enable them to start their overseas driving journeys. With 132 countries now accessible, there are plenty of options for business travel, cultural encounters, and exploration. It makes it possible for Pakistani drivers to easily and comfortably traverse foreign road networks, making international travel easier and more pleasurable.
