Pakistan has carefully altered their team in three ways ahead of the third Twenty20 tournament International against New Zealand in Dunedin.
Abbas Afridi has been replaced by Muhammad Wasim Jr. since he is out with a low-grade abdominal wall muscle strain that is constructing discomfort.
Usama Mir has been replaced by Mohammad Nawaz. Usama Mir had a difficult performance in the first two games, taking just one wicket at an expensive economy rate of 11.25.
Despite his impressive performances in Test matches, Aamer Jamal has not been included in the playing XI since he is Pakistan's most expensive bowler this series with a cost rate of 12.12. Zaman Khan, a T20I specialist, has been added to the lineup in his place.
Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Azam Khan (wk), Mohammad Nawaz, Shaheen Afridi (c), Mohammad Wasim Jr., Zaman Khan, and Haris Rauf make up Pakistan's playing XI for the third Twenty20 International. Having won the second Twenty20 International by 21 runs, New Zealand is now 2-0 up in the series.
Mohammad Rizwan, the vice-captain and wicket-keeper, Aamir Jamal, Abbas Afridi, Azam Khan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Haseebullah, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Usama Mir, and Zaman Khan make up the entire squad.
